I can't believe it's been over a year since I was last seriously posting here! Amazing! Where does the time go?!

Unfortunately, there was just so much in my inbox that I had to clear everything completely. I'm really sorry that I couldn't read all the comments, but it would have been simply impossible for me to have gone through everything. I've also had a massive spring clean and deleted a lot of my older (or just plain bad) Deviations.

I've been getting quite a few notes and comments asking about the disappearance of the site that hosts the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle scanlations I posted a link to here a while back. Well unfortunately, for personal reasons the webmistress had to close the site permanently.

I'm now scanlating Tsubasa and hosting the chapters over at my Livejournal. If you're a Fay fan like I am, now is the time to catch up! His mysterious and tormented past is about to be revealed! (and no, it most definitely isn't rainbows and sunshine and flying pink bunnies as the spectacularly craptastic anime would have you believe...)

I’m thinking of maybe getting myself a set of markers sometime soon buuuut, I’m not really sure which brand is best to go for. Copics to me seem like the most obvious choice but the most expensive product isn’t always the best, right?

I want a professional marker that’s not going to start losing colour the week after I’ve bought them and I’m not particularly fussed about how expensive they are, as long as they’re worth the money.

Anyway, if the marker users out there have any recommendations I’d love to hear them.

Please don’t misunderstand me, I really love getting feedback on my artwork and I’m pleased to know that people like what I’m doing enough to want me to continue drawing from certain fandoms or start drawing from their favourite new ones. I don’t usually take requests but I don’t mind if you want to make a polite suggestion.

However, what I do mind – a lot – is constantly being pestered and whined at. For example “why arnt u drawing Teen Titans anymore? you should draw them more. please please PLEASE draw more Teen Titans! please draw more RavenxBB and Dove and Benny!!!!11!1 *whinge whinge whinge* etc.”

If I was considering drawing the things I’d been whined at for, posts like this make me feel really defiant, like I don’t want to feel like I’m giving into immature demands and I probably wouldn’t.
As I said, I’m glad that people like my artwork enough to want to ask for more of it, but please remember that I am not your trained seal. I draw what I feel happy drawing and if I’m not into a certain fandom or genre anymore, no amount of whining, nagging or pestering will make me me give in. Just the same as if you don’t happen to like the direction I’m heading it stylistically. I don’t draw to constantly please everyone, that would be silly – you can never please everyone! I draw the things that make me happy to draw.
If you’re that desperate for me to draw you something in particular then I do take commissions and you can email me for information instead of sending me note after note or ranting away on my gallery.


Lastly, to answer a question that I’ve been asked quite often lately: the main reason I don’t post Teen Titans artwork anymore is that I just got so sick of it being stolen and that made my interest in drawing it plummet. I don’t think there is one piece of my TT artwork that hasn’t been stolen at least once and I just got tired of having to chase up every case of theft. I’m sorry that the rest of you are affected by the actions of a comparatively small group of bad people but unfortunately that’s just the way it is.
I may post a little more TT artwork sometime… but it will be in my own time so please don’t go on at me about it.

Guh! I really love the song "Magic" by Pilot ( [link] ) and want an MP3 of it to put on my Creative Zen Nano.

I've searched all over the Internet for it, but I just can't seem to find anywhere (that isn't shady looking) that has it up for download.
I don't want to buy the entire CD because I don't like any of their other songs.

If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

Aya con was so much fun! I really enjoyed myself this year, despite spending the first three quarters of an hour pottering around, hopelessly clutching my three pages of campus map, trying to find the late-comers registration desk. The University was emence!


I got to meet up with and , who were both terrific fun and had such  adorable costumes!

Thanks to everyone (especially and ) that let me know about the person from Neopets that had stolen some of my artwork.

Today I'll be resubmitting a load of my Teen Titans artwork with my copyright tag added on them since my Beastboy x Raven artwork seems to get stolen a lot. Sorry to clog up your deviantWATCH. ^_^;

Now, I know a lot of people don't realise that taking someone else's artwork and putting it on their own website is classed as stealing so I'd just like to make sure that all of my watchers do understand this.

You must ask the artist's permission to use any of their drawings on your own website (even if it's just on a fanart page) and, unless they say otherwise, you must also ask their permission to use their artwork in a website layout or to make icons.
If you take artwork without permission it is theft!
